Christine Ellis is an American writer living in Malmö, Sweden with aspirations of literary success and, well, space travel.
She attended Sarah Lawrence College as an undergraduate and received her BA with a concentration in Fiction Writing, then attended the phenomenal NYU Tisch Asia in Singapore, where she earned her MFA in Dramatic Writing. And finally, finally learned how to use chopsticks.
After grad school, she returned to NYC where she worked in film and television development, wrote pilots and feature-length screenplays, and two short films for fellow Tisch Asia alumnae which are currently in post-production. Christine has also had a comic published in the Harvey-nominated anthology Womanthology: Space! distributed by IDW Publishing.
In 2021, Christine moved to Copenhagen, Denmark and took a position as a narrative designer at a Tactile, a mobile video game company, where she worked primarily on Lily's Garden. In 2023, she moved to Sharkmob, a AAA studio in Malmö across the Öresund, and is working as a senior writer on the studio's recently announced tactical open world extraction shooter, EXOBORNE. She's also getting very serious about knitting socks.
As always, wherever she is, she finds herself looking up. And not just because she's short.
